Secuelas post covid - 19 y mortalidad asociada en pacientes con insuficiencia renal
Resumen
La enfermedad causada por el nuevo coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 es el COVID-19, según la Organización Mundial de la Salud es una enfermedad infecciosa de gran importancia. Las personas con insuficiencia renal han sido afectadas a nivel mundial por este virus. Es por ello que este trabajo tiene como objetivo evaluar las evidencias científicas sobre las secuelas post COVID-19 y la mortalidad asociada en pacientes con insuficiencia renal. La investigación posee un diseño de tipo documental con un alcance explicativo basado en la búsqueda de información relevante en relación al estudio en curso, para la búsqueda especifica se utilizaron bases de datos científicas provenientes de: PubMed, SciELO, Elsevier, Scopus, Latindex, en las cuales se utilizaron los términos MeSH como: “Insuficiencia Renal”, “Renal Insuficiency, “Coronavirus Covid-19, “Clinical diagnosis”. solo 109 artículos fueron de utilidad para el estudio. Sin embargo, solo 45 artículos científicos resultaron de alto impacto para el desarrollo de los objetivos. Entre los resultados se puede señalar que, el COVID-19 está asociado con altas tasas de problema renales, que son derivados de esta enfermedad, así mismo, las principales secuelas post COVID-19 en pacientes con insuficiencia renal posterior a la alta médica evidencian diálisis, proteinuria en rango nefrótico, glomerulopatía colapsante, lesión tubular aguda aislada, glomerulopatía membranosa y terapia de trasplante renal. Se puede concluir que la prevalencia de pacientes con insuficiencia renal afectados por el COVID-19 es alta y la asociación entre la enfermedad y el desarrollo de complicaciones renales entre otra secuela y comorbilidades, incrementan probabilidades de mortalidad significativamente.
