Rol del profesional de la información en escenarios de aprendizaje durante la pandemia COVID–19

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar el rol del profesional de la información en los escenarios de aprendizaje durante COVID–19. El estudio se aplicó a profesionales de la carrera Bibliotecología, Documentación y Archivo de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, en tres etapas: 1) determinación del rol a través de competencias principales y requeridas; 2) identificación de la percepción sobre escenarios de aprendizaje durante COVID–19 mediante preguntas con escala Likert; 3) definición del rol en los escenarios de aprendizaje durante COVID–19 mediante la prueba estadística Chi–cuadrado. Se encontró que el 76,7% de profesionales son activos para desempeñarse en Transferencia del conocimiento a todas las prácticas de aprendizaje. La Comunicación, Gestión de la información, y Estudio y enseñanza son principales competencias. Capacidad de utilizar tecnologías es la competencia requerida durante COVID–19. El 43,3% de los profesionales no están de acuerdo con que los escenarios de aprendizaje son similares antes y durante COVID–19. Hubo conformidad para considerarlos como novedad, aunque ya existían (46,7%) y que son un reto complejo, pero viable (53,3%). La definición del rol del profesional de la información en los escenarios de aprendizaje durante COVID–19, guarda correspondencia con relación significativa (<0,05) entre percepción sobre viabilidad de los escenarios y su rol desempeñado. El rol del profesional de la información en los escenarios de aprendizaje durante COVID–19 se enmarca a la Transferencia del conocimiento a todas las prácticas de aprendizaje: estudio y enseñanza; conjugando la capacidad de utilizar tecnologías de la información.
